These are from our very favorite personal images of 2008 – of our family here in Michigan: Wally, Julie her boys Aaron and Steven; my brother Gunther and his family as well as some from my daughter Tracy up in Alaska.  Some of these are from my trip last April to visit them as well as some of my favorite images that she posted on Flickr and I was able to download.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS – enjoy

Yolanda and Ed celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at the Filipino International Church in Taylor.  We started with some family photos at their home and the beautiful reception was at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dearborn

 

 

We photographed the Kate and Brad on November 22nd. The girls got ready at the the home and then off to the Our Lady Queen of Martyrs church in Beverly Hills close by for a beautiful ceremony. We had a terrific time on our romantic Urban shoot – even in the cold. We stopped at the Tiger at Comerica Park, The Fox Theater and Hockey Town. But the most unique fun was at Campus Martius – where they actually got on the ice rink. Then we warmed up inside the Compuware Building and enjoyed taking photos in front of the tallest waterfall in the area.

The reception was at Andiamos in Troy – everyone one enjoyed this great way to end the evening.

We photographed another great engagement session for Kelly and Vince on November 2nd.  Although it was getting colder, we still had some fall color and clear skies.  We enjoyed the Rochester Park along Paint Creek in several locations. The great Sunflower wall behind Andiamos that we all love so much was great, we even tried some other interesting places around  it.   Then we tried a new location in Rochester close to the cement factory – we loved the tall grass. We are looking forward to their wedding on June 27th and Look forward to designing a sign in book with the best of these images.

We photographed a great engagement session for Kelly and Mike on October 29th. We met at the city park in Rochester and enjoyed the great fall colors and ended up at the back of Andiamos by the Sunflower mural.
It was a lot of fun and we look forward to their wedding July 18th of next year.

We photographed a great engagement session for Kelly and Mike on October 29th.  WE met at the park in Rochester and enjoyed the fall color and scenery along Paint Creek. We also enjoyed our favorite sunflower mural behind Andiamos in Rochester for some interesting images.

On October 25th Wally was the main photographer for our wedding for Denise and Mike. The girls got ready in a downtown hotel and even spent a little time outdoors in the urban streets.  Denise and Mike met for their special moment at the Tiger by Comerica Park and then the rest of the party joined them for some fun at the tiger, at the fox, at the old tiger stadium and then the Belle Isle fountain and Casino bld.  It was a great “Urban Shoot” that we all enjoyed.

The beautiful ceremony was a the historic St Charles Borneo on Jefferson close to the Island.  The reception followed at the Roostertail for a fun evening.

Julie was the main photographer for our wedding with Anastasia and Joe on !0-25-08.  The girls got ready at the home in Lake Orion and then on the the beautiful ceremony at the King of Kings Church in Lake Orion.  The reception was at the fabulous Canterbury Village.  The bride and groom and the wedding party enjoyed some fun romantics on the famous grounds of the medieval village and then everyone had a great reception in the castle hall.

We photographed a great wedding for Stacy and Brian on October 18th. The ceremony was at the beautiful and quaint Historical Church in Howell. For romantics we stopped at the Pool at the high school (even though we could not get in unfortunately). The fall colors were great for lots of fun romantics on the grounds of Wixom Lyon Oaks in Wixom. The reception that followed there was enjoyed by all.

We photographed a great wedding for Kerry and Tim on October 17th. The girls got ready at the Radisson Livonia  and we did some great photos with them in the lobby area. The guys got ready at the Courtyard Marriott hotel in Livonia very close by.
Then went on to the Historic Sweetest Heart Of Mary Cathedral in Detroit by for a beautiful ceremony.
Then we went on to some fun \”Urban\” Romantics at Comerica Park and Hart Plaza on the waterfront. This is always fun for the couple and the bridal party.
Everyone enjoyed the reception at the Fox Hills Golf And banquet center in Plymouth. We enjoyed some more romantic photography on the beautiful grounds and then ended the evening with a fun reception that everyone enjoyed.

We photographed a great wedding for Kendra and Bill on October 11th. The girls got ready at the Country Club of Detroit in Grosse Pointe Farms where the reception was to be held later. Kendra and Bill met in the fabulous staircase for the first time and then enjoyed some romantics on the grounds, including the wedding party and some family.

The ceremony was at the magnificent St Paul on the Lake Cathedral close by officiated by her uncle. Then back to the Country Club of Detroit for a great reception.

We photographed a great wedding for Sarah and Robert on October 4th. The girls got ready at the gracious home of her parents in Dexter and then went on to the Sain Joseph Catholic Church close by for a beautiful ceremony.

Then we went on to some fun Romantics at the Dexter Train Depot and then ejoyed the beautiful grounds of the Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor for some more romantics. Then we all went inside the large historic barn, farm building for a great reception that everyone enjoyed.

We photographed a great wedding for Jessica and Billy on August 16th. The girls got ready at the fabulous MGM Grand hotel in Detroit and then went on to the Historic Fort Street Presbyterian close by for a beautiful ceremony.

Then we went on to some fun Urban Romantics. Comerica Park, The Fox, Hockeytown were fun, especially since there was a game coming up soon. Then we headed on to the waterfront behind the Ren Cen. Billy had proposed here so it was very specially. The small water fountain jets were very interesting and they had fun getting in between the rows.

Everyone enjoyed the reception was at the Detroit Athletic club. We were fortunate enough to be able to get on the roof to take photos of Jessica and Billy during the fireworks after the Tigers game. A great way to end the evening.
