We photographed a fantastic wedding on the 26th of July for Gretchen and Richard. The girls got ready at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham where we would later end up for the reception.

Richard’s best man has a phenomenal house – a “castle” on Orchard Lake and this is where we headed to for romantics and some family groups. Gretchen and Richard had their first meeting here and we enjoyed the beauty and ambiance of the home for our photographs.

The church ceremony was a the Orchard lake Presbyterian Church and we finished the day with a great fun reception at the Townsend Hotel.

At the beginning of July we photographed Rachel and Peter and their family at the beautiful historic Henry Ford Estate. The children were darling and they had brought their Model T along for some great images.  We all had a great time making the rounds of the grounds.

We had donated a Family Session to a silent auction earlier and they were the wining bid.  It is always great to be a small part of helping to preserve this historical landmark.
