New Baby session at Cranbrook for Carrie and Brian
Posted on June 28, 2008
We recently enjoyed photographing the brand new baby boy of Carrie and Brian at the beautiful Cranbrook gardens. They were one of our wedding couples in 2004 at the Henry Ford Estate. It is so great to be able to photograph the growing families of our former bridal couples. The baby was only 3 weeks old.
Our bridal couples from past years always get a $50 discount on the session fee (now only $150 to begin with) and we already know each other and can work together great.

Valerie and Eric – June 14th, 2008
Posted on June 25, 2008
Valerie and Eric’s wedding was really great. They met in Rochester by the Park Place Hotel and Paint Creek stream – (right where we just photographed the last family session) – we did lots of fun romantics by the water and wrought iron fences and then headed into Rochester to check out the “Sunflower” wall Julie had spotted earlier. We found it and it was fantastic – just loved it – check out the images below -you can’t miss them. The Rivercrest Banquet Hall was close by and our location for both the beautiful outside ceremony and fun reception.

Family Session at the Park Place Hotel in Rochester
Posted on June 24, 2008
On June 8th we did a family group session at the Rochester Park Place Hotel after a birthday party they had there for the grandparents. When Julie’s youngest son Steven was taking Karate a few years back, Jackie was one of his instructors so it was great to work with her entire family here. We did lots of groups inside and then went outside to where the Pain Creek comes through for some phenomenal images down by the river.
This is just a small sampling of the many groups and images we were able to take.

The Drake Family Portrait Session – the winning bid of the Silent Auction for the 1st United Methodist Chuch
Posted on June 21, 2008
The Drake Family won the winning bid for the silent auction we donated to last month for the !st United Methodist Church of Troy. We photographed their portrait session in Rochester by the Paint Creek River area. It was a gorgeous area and we all had a lot of fun. I worked with the files to design a portrait album – and these are a few pages from that. This is something we would like to offer more of.

Megan and Michael, Sunday May 25th, 2008 Downriver
Posted on June 1, 2008
We had a second great wedding on the Memorial Day weekend – Megan and Michael were married at St John’s United Church of Christ in Wyandotte and then we went on to some great romantics at a nearby park right on the river. This is where Michael proposed to Megan so it was a special place for them which always makes it so much more personal for our romantic, relaxed and fun photography.. They had gone on to a little ice cream shop close by,so we went there again also for an ice cream cone to share. The day was beautiful and the full sun at times made it awesome for Julie’s infra-red images. The reception was at the beautiful Arnoldo’s in Riverview. We just loved the domed dance floor which looked like the sky and all the stars above with the lighting. Gorgeous.
