These are some Holiday cards we just designed for some families we photographed this fall.

Lat October 21st we photographed an engagement session for Gretchen and Richard. We started out at their beautiful home in Bloomfield Hills and then went on to a nearby park to enjoy the fantastic fall color.  The highlight was photographing them with his new blue Corvette.  Even their dog joined us at the end. The fall is such a great and popular time.  It was a lot of fun and always great to personalize sessions like this with the things that mean something to you personally. We are looking forward to their wedding next July.

Julie and I are running a little behind right now in the editing of the weddings, but we are working very hard to get them on line as quickly as possible. The fall has been our very busiest time – photographing 14 weddings from the middle of September to the first weekend in November.  We loved every one of these and are very grateful.   I have been busy with album designs also to get out some of those those gorgeous albums in time for holiday delivery.  My blog updates are also a little behind because we are concentrating on getting out the main uploads, but will try to catch up here also.

We have also enjoyed photographing some family groups and engagement sessions which will be featured here also.

We have a web site page live right now – in all browsers (that was a problem at first) that has some of the specials we have going on right now in time for the holidays.  We still have time to make reprints, and even Holiday cards.  Any order of reprints from the online proofing that is over $100 will automatically be discounted 10% by myself when I adjust the totals. Gift certificates are always a great idea also.

This is a card I designed for a family we photographed a the Preswick Village Golf course.

This is a card I designed for a family we photographed a the Preswick Village Golf course. 

Wally was the main photographer for Rebecca and Michael on October 20th.  The ceremony was a t the Church of the Nazarene in Plymouth.  For the romantics we went to a park along Hines Park where the fall color was very spectacular.  The reception was a t the Italian American Club and was a lot of fun.  We had photographed Rebecca’s Brothers wedding earlier in the year so it was great to see so many familiar faces.

Julie was the main photographer for the wedding of Laurie and John on October20th. The church was the Oxford Dominican Sisters. For the Romantics they went into downtown Oxford and stopped at the Moose preserve for some fun.  Then on to the Centerpoint Marriott for a great reception.  The sun was very bright at times which made for some great Infra red images.

By baby grandson Gunther in Alaska turned 1 on November 2nd in Alaska.  From the photos Tracy sent on Flickr – he sure looks happy. He does not normally get to eat much sugar – so getting to have a piece of chocolate cake was a real treat – In his high chair with only a diaper on – he devoured the cake and when done was ready for the bathtub.  Happy birthday Gunther – Oma wishes she was there.

Julie was the main photographer for the wedding October 6th for Nicole and Brian.  The girls got ready at her grandmothers home in Bloomfield Hills and then the ceremony was at the St Owens Church in Franklin, Bloomfield Hills.  Everyone enjoyed the romantics – at the Grotto of St Mary’s on Orchard Lake and then on to the beautiful grounds of the Orchard Lake Country Club. A great reception followed there.  It was so much fun to also see Christina and Bill, our couple from a few years ago and also Sarah and Adam who we photographed just about 2 weeks ago.  We love and appreciate the great referrals.
