March 24th wedding of Mary & Jeremy
Posted on March 30, 2007
We photographed a phenomenal wedding this last Saturday for Mary and Jeremy. The day started out threatening rain but we were blessed with such great weather. We started at her parents beautiful home, the energy was so high, the family was so close and Mary and the girls there were so gorgeous. Then on a the ceremony at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Warren that went very smoothly. Then the wedding party got into the limo and we embarked on our “Urban Shoot” – It was so much fun to say the least. First in front of the Fox – where we encountered some construction – but it just gave us a great open roped off area to take our walking shots – they were even game for jumping up in the air as we walked -everyone had a ball. Then on to the Tiger in front of Comerica Park and then on to Belle Isle. We always love the beautiful marble Scott fountain – and the fact that there was no water did not stop us – they all climbed in. Mary decided she wanted to climb way up and ride the lion on top, and Jeremy joined her – wow – I’ve never had anyone do that before – it sure was so much fun. The day ended with an elegant fun reception at Cherry Creek.

My new ad for the Knot
Posted on March 29, 2007
I just designed a new add for my add in the Knot Magazine – Art Leather had asked me to photograph one of my earlier bridal couples for an add they were designing for the “Kiss” Magazine published by Kay Jewelers. I did ad a copy of that ad below mine. I took another image from that shoot and used it here for my add. Angela and Kevin’s wedding was a few years back and they were gracious enough to let us into their home to photograph. The inserted images are from their own wedding.
The message is so clear – all the emotions, beauty and happenings of your special day are preserved for you – they are priceless – and they will bring back memories for years and generations to come. We would be honored with the privilege of being your family historians – and have fun with you doing it.
